"When someone emailed me about a wedding they were going to
attend, I thought about how my program/recovery is a "wedding":

Isn't all recovery a wedding.
Joy, vows, connection, beginning to get to know..promise of good
and rough
times, special connections, challenge of losses,  opportunity for
"birthings", and
glimpses of more rainbows to come...

Program is portable even in a dumpster...

As closing Dad's affairs down and letting go of a lifetime of "collecting",
I was standing in the 22 foot long  8 foot high dumpster .....The sky was
bright blue with wisps of clouds and golden sunshine...sadness was knocking
on my heart big time when....
I paused and connected with HP knowing that all this stuff was really the
"holy trash" of his life....Spirit is all around if we only pause and
pray.... Then our perceptions are altered....

“When things get overwhelming at work I meditate of photos I've taken
when peace was all around is one shot that helps me know there are
sparkles of light at the end to the 12 step path even thought the
pathway may seem lonely at times....and the light always beckons me
if I will only pause, breathe, and see what is really important."

A thought...
The opposite of OK is KO’d (a boxing term for
knocked out - another word for unconscious)

What's probably hardest for me is to know is when my
thinking is OK or KO’d -  when it comes to making God
conscious decisions about food and life.

Sometimes I think of my 3 meals a day like a
prescription med.…if I miss one I Can Not “double up” at
the next!

'THINKING" is not one of the OA tools of recovery!
